Daniel Edmondson is a realist painter whose work brings the enduring traditions of Old Master painting into a contemporary context. Through a masterful handling of paint, he explores the interplay of light and shadow, the subtleties of broken color, and the richness of color and atmosphere with expressive brushwork. Edmondson has pursued his artistic studies at the University of Colorado Boulder, the Palette and Chisel in Chicago, the Loveland Academy of Fine Art, the Fechin Institute in Taos, New Mexico, Scottsdale Artists’ School in Arizona, and the Art Students League of Denver.
